We have exciting news to share with all our supporters and followers.
 
The Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service are delighted to announce the securing of Flag Northeast funding to the massive value of over € 70k under the promoting social well being &coastal cultural heritage act.
 
This is great news to start off the week and the monies secured will go towards enhancing , securing and improving resources for the services provided by the BFRRS.
 
Speaking on behalf of the organization Wayne Hurley & Jason Clarke commented that it is great investment into the organization ,this will help us improve our services that are provided and available to the communities but not just in Drogheda, throughout Ireland.
 
The monies will see the upgrading , replacement and installation of
 
- A new state of the art digital radio network.
- Various New lines of PPE for crews on call including suits, lifejackets & helmets.
-The upgrading of 2 x fully equipped inshore rescue boats.
- Flood Rescue equipment for our flood rescue services which are provided.
 
We cannot wait for the works to be completed as this will be exciting times ahead.
 
On track to been one of the busiest years for calls, the services and equipment provided to Community have to be second to none. Professionalism , image and reliability is key Jason stated.
 
We have been well and truly established in the community for over 60 years and the upgrading of equipment is vital within the times to provide the best service possible.
