We also keep the banks of the river Boyne in Drogheda clean and trolley free!
Today members spent a few hours removing hazardous materials from the river banks.
The removal of Trolleys , Bikes , Bins , Cones and so on all of which will be going to the scrap yard.
The reasons we do this is simple it removes the hazards that can
-Cause injury to our emergency crew
-Damage to our equipment
- Hazardous to our Dive unit
- Wildlife within the river including leisure craft
