Each year members of the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service take part in the Darkness into Light run which takes place in Drogheda.
This raises much needed awareness and funds for pieta house / suicide.
We amongst many families and organizations unfortunately have to deal with many situations that revolves around suicide.
Thankfully with the highly skilled crews and fast response the majority of our calls we are able to prevent any harm to life making sure the person in question gets the help needed.
This morning our crew took time out ,with the poor weather conditions continuing to show support for pieta house and suicide.
We took a minute to remember those effected at sunrise (stock photo) and to donate towards the pieta house services.
We always urge people not to be afraid to speak out and ask for help when times are hard.A simple cup of tea and a chat can help big time.
