Callout 09/01/20 03/20
Early this morning at 00.55am the BFRRS emergency paging system was activated requesting the teams assistance in a report of a person attempting to enter the water at Bettystown beach.
We immediately dispatched 2 of our mobile units to the location to conduct a search of the area.
On arrival of the first crew the team was stood down as the person had been located and was in the process of receiving the required help.
Also in attendance were the National Ambulance Service , laytown Gardai and Drogheda Coast Guard Unit.
The crews refilled,washed down and restaged equipment awaiting the next call out.
