Call-out 31/10/2020 59/20

 
This afternoon at 13.08hrs the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated requesting the teams assistance with a boat adrift at the mouth of the River Boyne.
 
Crews quickly mustered with our inshore rescue boat launched and proceeding to the scene.
 
On arrival the inshore rescue boat met with our mobile unit who was with the owner of the craft.
 
The Inshore rescue boat proceeded to the location where the boat was adrift after the boat had broken free from it's moorings during the rough and wild conditions of Storm Aiden.
 

 It was taken under tow back towards it's moorings,where crews met with the owner of the craft.

After a short discussion with the owner it was agreed and crews assisted to tie the boat up to new moorings.
 
Crew were stood down returning to base to wash , sanitize and restage equipment in the event of another tasking.
