At 21.02hrs this evening for a second tasking within 2 hours, the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated to the reports of a person after entering the water from the Haymarket bridge.
We immediately dispatched our inshore rescue boat , 2 mobile units and scene crew to the location of the incident.
On arrival scene crews met with Drogheda Gardai and the National Ambulance Service.
A search was conducted of the water by our Inshore rescue boat and a land search was conducted involving all parties.
Our underwater search unit was also mobilized to the location.
A period of time later a stand down was given as it was deemed a hoax call due to the information been received.
Crews were stood down returning to base to wash,restage and fuel the equipment.
