Call-out 25/07/2021 24/21 * Missing Persons *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 11.08am today.
Call recieved reports of a missing person possibly on route to enter the water at an unknown location.
Crews mustered with the launch of our inshore rescue boat swiftly making it's way up river to check various high risk areas .
We also dispatched our mobile 1 & 3 unit to conduct search's of nearby areas.
An second inshore rescue boat and additional mobile units where also dispatched due to the nature of the incident.
A short time later the crews where stood down as the person had been located safe and well.
The Crews sanitized and restaged the equipment used ready for the next call out.
