Call-out 24/04/2020 20/20
This afternoon shortly before 15.27 hrs the emergency paging system for the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service was activated.
The request was for the teams assistance in a missing child search just outside of the Drogheda area.
We immediately dispatched a mobile unit and crew to location of the incident while additional mobile units were on route to the location.
As crews were nearby a further update was received and thankfully the child had been found safe and unharmed.
Crews were stood down and returned to base to wash,restage and fuel the equipment.
