Call out 24/02/20 09/20
This evening at 18.59 pm the emergency paging system was activated for the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service.
The teams help was requested with a possible person attempting to enter the river Boyne from St Mary's Bridge in Drogheda but was unsure of the person's current location as a prevention had previously taken place.
We immediately dispatched a mobile crew to the location,while our inshore rescue boat prepared to launch.
On arrival crew were notified that the person had been handed over to Drogheda Gardai.
Crews returned back to base where they washed, refueled and restaged the equipment awaiting another call.
