Call out 23/02/20 07/20
Early this morning at 04.11 am the emergency paging system was activated for the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service.
The teams help was requested with a possible person after / is going to enter the river Boyne from the Doners Green area in Drogheda.
We immediately dispatched a mobile crew to the location,while our inshore rescue boat was launched and arrived on scene within minutes.
A search of the area was conducted by the crew,who successfully located the person matching the description.
The person was prevented from entering the water and crews managed to dissolve the situation before handing over to Drogheda Gardai.
Crews returned back to base where they washed, refueled and restaged the equipment awaiting another call
