* Missing Person *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 19.14pm yesterday evening.
While our mobile 1 unit crew were in Dominics Park conducting a routine call , a request for assistance was received.
The call requested assistance with a missing person search in the area,as it was feared the person in question may attempt to enter the water.
The emergency pager crews mustered with the launch of our inshore rescue boat to conduct a search on the river Boyne.
Our mobile 1 & 3 unit was dispatched to the Dominics Park and Mell pitch area as this was a high risk area of interest.
After a period of time searching a update was received that the missing person had been located safe and well by gardai.
Other units in attendance Drogheda Gardai.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
