Call-out 22/06/2021 19/21 * Assistance Required *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 13.21pm.
Call recieved requesting assistance with a leisure craft on the river Boyne which was thought to have broken it's moorings.
Our inshore rescue boat was tasked and proceeded swiftly to the scene to provide to where an inspection was carried out of the vessel and it's moorings.
Following the inspection and liaising with Drogheda Gardai and the owner no further assistance was required.
The Crews returned to the boathouse on the Marsh Road to wash down , sanitize and restage the equipment used ready for the next call out.
