Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 18:11pm yesterday evening.
Crews paged to reports of a person on the riverside of the railings on Dominics bridge in Drogheda.
Our inshore rescue boat was launched with a crew on board and swiftly made its way up river to the incident.
Following the arrival of our on scene crew ,Mobile 2 unit and Drogheda Gardai a swift detailed search of the area was conducted by both land and water.
After a period of time of searching there was nothing to report and deemed a call with good intent.
Crews returned to base, restaged and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
