Call-out 17/10/2020 57/20
This morning at 10.08hrs the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated requesting the teams assistance with a boat adrift under the Boyne Cable Bridge.
Crews quickly mustered with our inshore rescue boat proceeding to the scene rapidly and our scene crew dispatched.
On arrival the inshore rescue boat located the boat adrift and took it under tow back towards it's moorings.
On scene crews met with our mobile unit crew,Drogheda Gardai and the owner of the boat.
The boat was tied up to it moorings and the owner advised of the health and safety issues.
Crew were stood down returning to base to wash , sanitize and restage equipment in the event of another tasking.
