Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 21.09pm last night.
Crews paged to assist in search for missing person,it was feared they may attempt or already have entered the water from an unknown location on the river Boyne.
Crews mustered swiftly with a brief and description of the missing person provided.
As the inshore rescue boat was launched an update was received that the missing person had been located safely.
Crews returned to base, restaged and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
