We dispatched a crew to the location.

Crews were requested to restaged a number of life rings along the beach following a Incident where they had been removed from there housing.

This is the second similar incident which occured within a matter of weeks of each other.

Members of the public on the beach at the time witnessed a individual walking the beach removing the liferings from there housing and then discarding them into the water.

Crews managed to retrieve the liferings, restage them and double check some that had been restaged by members of the public.

We urge people not to tamper with these life saving devices,as a missing life ring can be a missing life.
