Call out 09/02/20 06/20
This afternoon the BFRRS while out monitoring the high tides where alerted to reports of a car after entering flood water and becoming stranded on the marsh Road.
Reports incidated the car was taking on water and the condition of the occupants unknown.
We immediately dispatched a mobile crew to the location,while additional crew were alerted.
We deployed a crew of Flood Rescue Personnel to make there way to the car and check on the persons in it.
While this was occuring we where joined by a additional mobile unit and crew who just as were getting ready to assist, a second car had entered the water and became stranded.
Both crews worked to assist / safely extract the personnel safely out of their cars.They received a check over and then they were taken back to our Boathouse.
Both cars where recovered to a nearby carpark for safety reasons.
