Early this morning at 04.15am the emergency paging system was activated for the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service.
The teams help was requested with a high risk missing person search ,and it was feared that the person may be at a unknown location on the river Boyne.
Our inshore rescue boat was immediately launched and began search operations on the river Boyne while mobile units and land teams where dispatched to various locations and points of entry.
Shortly before 05.45 am the team where stood down following a update on the incident.
