Call out 05/04/20 16/20

 

This evening at 21.01pm the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated to the reports of person in a Distressed state on the river bank at the Grammer School on the Marsh Road in Drogheda.

It was feared they may enter the river Boyne.

We immediately dispatched our 3 mobile units to the location of the incident while we had a boat on standby from our base on the Marsh Road.

On arrival of crew ,they observed a Distressed male making his way back up to the road. Crews engauged with the male until the arrival of Gardai.

Crews returned back to base where they washed, refueled and restaged the equipment awaiting another call.
