Last night at 21.32pm the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue and Recovery Service was requested to assist at De laucy Bridge Scotch hall.
 
Following the tasking it was to reports of a number of liferings after been removed from there housing and thrown into the water.
 
We dispatched one of our Mobile 1 units to the scene who met with a member of the east Meath Defibrillator Unit.
 
The units where restaged and nearby ones check.This is a number of times now we have restaged life rings in the area.
 
We urge members of the public not to interfere with the liferings as they are a life saving device.
 
All crews were stood down returning to the Boathouse to wash ,restage and Sanitize all the equipment used on the call so it is ready for the next tasking.
