* Missing Person *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 19:56pm last night.
Call recieved requesting assistance in a missing person search in the Drogheda area,it was feared the male may attempt to enter the water due to a recent incident.
The emergency pager crews mustered with the launch of our inshore rescue boat to conduct a search on the river Boyne.
Our mobile 1, 2 & 3 unit was dispatched to check various locations and points of interest in and around the Drogheda boundaries area.
The inshore rescue boat commenced a search at various locations on the river Boyne in the hope of locating the male.
After a short period of time searching the person was located safe and well by Drogheda Gardai.
Other units in attendance Drogheda Gardai.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
