At 18.46hrs this evening the Boyne Fishermen's Rescue & Recovery Service emergency paging system was activated requesting the teams assistance to conduct a missing persons search.
We dispatched our inshore rescue boat and 3 mobile units.
The inshore rescue boat conducted a search from the Boyne Cable Bridge down to the Mouth of the River Boyne and maintained a presence on the river in the center of town also.
Our 3 mobile units checked various areas, access points and points of interest.
After a period of time the missing persons was located safe and well.
Crews were stood down returning to base to wash,restage and fuel the equipment.
