Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated yesterday at 12.13pm.
Requesting assistance at the Dominic's bridge area where a person was witnessed in a distressed state and may attempt to enter the water.
We immediately dispatched a mobile unit followed swiftly by our inshore rescue boat to the location.
A search of the area was conducted both on land and water with no results.
All crews were stood down returning to the Boathouse to wash ,restage and Sanitize all the equipment used on the call so it is ready for the next tasking.
