* Missing Person Search *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 22.09pm last night.
Crews paged to assist in search for missing person,it was feared they may attempt or already have entered the water from an unknown location on the river Boyne.
Crews mustered swiftly with a brief and description of the missing person provided.
The inshore rescue boat was launched to conduct a search on the river Boyne ,while we we dispatched our Mobile 1 , 2 & 3 unit to check various locations of interest.
The inshore rescue boat and mobile units conducted a search of a number of areas from Townley Hall to the viaduct area in Drogheda.
Shortly before 00.30 am hours the unit was stood down pending further information, thankfully a period later the missing persons had returned home.
Crews returned to base, restaged and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
