* Missing Person *
Boyne Fishermen's Rescue emergency paging system activated at 23:06pm last night.
Call recieved requesting assistance with a missing person who was feared to be threatening to enter the water, from the river bank at Queensborough.
The emergency pager crews mustered with the immediate launch of our inshore rescue boat.
With a spring high tide forecast and conditions calm the inshore rescue boat swiftly proceeded to the scene to commence a search.
Our mobile 1 unit was dispatched to the baltray area to provide addiontal search crew and equipment.
After a short period of time searching the person was located safe and well by Drogheda Gardai.
Other units in attendance Drogheda Gardai.
Crews returned to base to wash ,restage and sanitize equipment in the event of another tasking.
