Incident 21/03/19 Possible Person in the water 05/19
At 18.55 this evening ,Thursday 21st March while the crew where leaving the scene from a previous call,the crew was alerted to a possible female after entering the river Boyne from the Doners green area of the river Boyne in Drogheda.
Immediately we had diverted various crews including our inshore rescue boat crew ,Mobile units and Scene crews to the incident.
On arrival of the inshore rescue boat they met with a female sitting on Doners green who matched the description given and the call was intended for.We talked to the female and everything was ok it was deemed a call with good intent.
All units were stood down and returned to base on the marsh road where they cleaned and restaged the equipment awaiting the next call out.
