Incident 14/08/17 Assistance Required 11/17

At 20.30 this evening (Monday 14 August) The Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service where alerted to pleasure craft adrift just opposite the tower at the Mornington stretch of the river Boyne with 1 person on board.

As the inshore rescue boat was preparing to launch ,the crew were notified that the boat had made it to shore and further assistance was not required.

All units were stood down and returned to their Marsh Road Base where they Cleaned and restaged their equipment to have it ready for the next call out.
